Security of Information on this Georgia Restaurant Association Web Site
SSL Encryption
This Georgia Restaurant Association Web site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We use industry standard SSL encryption when accepting your credit card information during our processing of online forms. SSL encryption is a method by which information transmitted across the Internet is scrambled to the point where it's virtually indecipherable by anyone who should intercept the data before it reaches its destination. Most reputable online stores make use of SSL encryption to request credit card information and other sensitive data from their customers. A lock or key symbol displayed somewhere in your browser typically identifies Web pages where SSL encryption is activated.
Other Security Issues
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. Information sent to Georgia Restaurant Association via email is stored on our server behind a firewall and is not "web-accessible."
