Listed below is a list of our volunteer opportunities for January 2012.  They now have the run-down of dates, times, locations, curriculum and volunteers positions needed.  Please check your schedule and see if you are ready to help change someone’s life for the better.

Where: Westlake High School, 2400 Union Road, SW Atlanta, GA 30331
Who: Chef (1), Nutrition Educator (1), Class Assistants (2)
Audience: High School students
Curriculum: Cooking Matters for Teens
When: Thursday, 4:00PM-6:00PM
Start Date: Thursday, January 26, 2012 (There will be a meeting at the site for volunteers the week before class starts)
End Date: Thursday, March 1, 2012

Where: The Salvation Army’s Kroc Center Community, 942 Dewey St. Atlanta GA 30310
Who: Chef (2), Nutrition Educator (2), Class Assistants (2 to 3)
Audience: Families - Cooking Matters for Families brings school-age (7 year old and above)  children and their families together to learn about healthy eating, planning meals, and working together in the kitchen.
Curriculum: Cooking Matters for Families
When: Saturday, 10:00AM-12:00PM
Start Dates: Saturday January 28, 2012 (There will be a meeting at the site for volunteers the week before class starts)
End Dates: Saturday, March 3, 2012
 
Cooking Matters courses are designed as six weekly, two-hour lessons. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Marcia Rafig at m.rafig@g-pan.org.
