Community
According to the National Restaurant Association, more than nine out of 10 restaurants are actively involved in community service activities. In 2009, the Georgia Restaurant Association (GRA) and its members helped raise over $1.5 million for community partners.
Community Involvement is a GRA Cornerstone, and is supported by Community Involvement Liaison, Kelly Hornbuckle. The GRA celebrates and supports the remarkable positive effects restaurants have on our community by raising awareness and funds, serving on planning committees and boards, and helping our members maximize their contibutions.
GRA Community Partners include the Atlanta Community Food Bank; Hospitality Education Foundation of Georgia; the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; Share Our Strength; the March of Dimes; Team Georgia Safe & Sober Driving Coalition, and Communities in Schools.
